# Rank Notification Type

The **"Rank Notification Type"** option lets you choose how rank-up notifications are displayed on your server. You can choose between showing the **rank name** or the **role name** when a member reaches a new milestone.

#### How to Choose the Notification Type?

1. Access the `/settings` command and select **Rank Notification Type**.
2. Choose between **Rank Name** or **Role Name** based on your preferences.

#### What’s the Difference Between "Rank Name" and "Role Name"?

* **Rank Name**: The bot will display the member’s rank when they level up.\

* **Role Name**: The bot will display the **highest role** assigned to the member among those configured for a given rank.\
